Why is it that HAM radio gets the dregs of humanity, complete with an FCC license to show that they are allowed to transmit on appropriate frequencies? No background check, no character references, not a darn thing to prove that they are fit to associate with other human beings.
Pedophiles, child molesters, daughter rapers, the list goes on. Amazing, the FCC, being notified of the fact that some of these dregs of humanity have been issued a license, decide to do NOTHING! "Well, we'll put a 'flag' on the record so that when the license comes up for renewal, we'll act on it." Yes, exact words from the person in charge of investigations. How pathetically sad, registered sex offenders sitting among innocent men, women and children, some of whom know who that is and decide that it is 'okay' because they 'served their time'.
